Decor elements on the center console, air vents, and around the digital instrument cluster are made of the stuff, offset by red contrast stitching throughout the cabin and red seatbelts. Everywhere you look, Alcantara and Dinamica are present, including the steering wheel, which features a red 12 o’clock marker and bespoke controls for the Torque Rear mode.
Torque Rear mode – The R8 GT is a weapon of precision, but that doesn’t mean it’s not fun, and should the situation present itself, and you feel brave or cocky enough, Audi Sport engineers have equipped the GT with a new toy you might like to play around with called Torque Rear mode. For the layman, that’s drift mode.

Our Verdict
The R8 GT will not go down in history as the fastest supercar, nor one that will attempt Nürburgring records of any sort, however, an already focused performance car becomes quicker than ever, yet both the physical and electronic chassis tweaks have made it even more engaging without compromising the huge enjoyment Audi’s supercar is known for. To cap it all off you get one of the great engine noises of all time. None will ever feel as special as this.
